COLLABORATION

Viceroy engaged in a two-year collaboration with renowned French designer Philippe Starck to develop the interiors for the habitation module of what is being hailed as the 'world's first' commercial space station. This innovative project, undertaken for the private space exploration company Axiom Space, aims to redefine space travel by offering a comfortable environment for individuals embarking on expeditions to the space station.

Starck's design is centered around crafting a unique and immersive experience that seamlessly integrates cutting-edge technology with elegant aesthetics. The goal is to ensure that the habitation module is not only functional but also serves as a place of inspiration and relaxation. Starck was entrusted with the intricate task of designing the interiors of the crew quarters, which will be attached to the International Space Station (ISS). His approach involves using innovative materials and lighting solutions to create a sense of openness and tranquility, making the space feel both futuristic and welcoming.

"This is a dream project for a creator like me with a genuine fascination for aviation and space exploration." Starck.
